How To Save Your Internet Quota

Everyday is internet! Today, look like no one can live without internet access. Even creating a blog like this need internet access too. But, as we know the internet volume often running out. Imagine, 1.5 Gigabyte is only for 2 weeks? That's so sad.

But, there are some methods you can try to save your internet bills, especially on your smartphones. Some of you may familiar with this methods, but for any people who don't know you can try this. I've try this methods and i only need 600 Megabyte of internet volume for 1 month!

Limit background process

This method is not recommended for people who really need notification access, because with the background data limitation the notification access (e.g. chat notification or reminder) would be disabled automatically.

But, according my daily data usage, the notification like BBM, Facebook, Line, etc is consumpting about 15% of my quota. If you want to try, you can go to your phone setting and then select data usage and select the more menu and tap "limit background process". On some Android device with newer OS, this option is automatically activated during phone idle.

Use the lite browser

Opera mini browser is one of many examples of lite browser. The compression function on the lite browser can compress all of sites you want to browser until to the lightest size. With this lite browser, you may not experience the perfect site User Experience (UX) but this can save up to 80% of data that you need in normal mode.

But this is not means that the lite browser is having a worst performance, because today the major of lite browser is equipped with many function like notification access and UX enhancement. This lite browser can open AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) perfectly too.

Stay On 2G

If you are not in busy day, it's better to switch your signal to the 2G mode for data savings. For additional information, 2G is fast enough to browsing in lite browser that i have wrote above. But you can't doing much with 2G mode except make or receiving call.

Switch data to offline if you are no need to online

If you are not really need data access, you can switch your data access to offline mode (e.g. if you are sleep or studying). Therefore, the application can't consumpting your data volume silently.

Remember many application is monetized using advertising service. This means if you are accessing a offline application such as dictionary or calculator, they even use your data for advertisement access. But, if you turned off your data access, the ads cannot be loaded and you're saving your internet quota.

Use Wi-Fi

Actually, you will do this thing if you are on some place that offers wi-fi access aren't you? But on some place the speed is really slow. You can use the wi-fi for save your data efficiently.

So simple right? Saving your data is means saving your monthly cost too. If the money cannot covers your monthly need and running out before the pay day, just because you need to recharge your internet is not so funny isn't it?

Not Only AdSense, This Is The Money Source Of Youtube Content Creator

In the beginning, YouTube only released as a open and free video sharing platform for everyone who wants to share. But, by the time, many people joining YouTube for working and make money from it. And these are called as YouTuber.

For a youtuber who wants to make money from their video, they can't upload random video. Moreover, the YouTube terms and conditions are updating day by day. YouTube is always take down every video that doesn't comply with YouTube's copyright policy.

Every youtuber is forced to make a quality and original content without any plagiarism. This is not a easy deal. But, if you can do it well, you can able to make much money from it.

There are many methods to make money from YouTube. There it is:

Google AdSense

Same with this blog which is useing AdSense for source of money. So do YouTube. YouTube is able to integrate with Google AdSense for monetizing creator's video. The Creator can make money from any clicks or view from video which are eligible to monetized

The Google AdSense is also the most famous monetizing methods on YouTube. Google AdSense is available for everyone who is 18 years old or older. But, some kids are registered to Google AdSense with their older sibling or parents. 

Endorsement

For some channel that famous enough in people environment, they often add some implicated endorsement video. Usually, endorsement activities is uploaded together with the content inside. For example, comedy video which is shows a myopia character and another character will offering any glasses or soft lens from any vendor.

Why implicated? It is for keep the creator's image itself. Major of viewers are not interested if they must see a clear endorsement video.

Review

PewDiePie is one of many creators that often uploading gaming review content, one of the example is Dancing Line video. According from the Dancing Line's Fans page, the video is a cooperation review between Developer and PewDiePie.

Many company will choose the famous creators only and the creators must suitable with the company profile, where at the example above, PewDiePie is one of very famous gaming YouTube Creators.

Sponsorship

How is sponsorship happens with YouTube content creator? There are many option. For example, the company will provide any set of device (e.g. : Camera or PC gaming) as a device that must be used by the creator with some contract duration (e.g : 6 months). So the creator will use the camera or PC gaming that provided by the company for 6 months for creating their content.

Not only electronic devices, many vendor are interest to become a sponsor for fashion, literature, stationary, etc. And the company would choose the content creator that suitable with their business profile.

Royalty

This is the biggest but most difficult money source for YouTube Content Creator. Because, the creator only get any royalty if their content are used by any third parties and published for commercial purposes (below of written agreement). Of course, only content with high quality that have a opportunity to get this chance and this is a very difficult matter. Even an experienced creator is not guaranteed for get this chance.

Maybe is still many source from other methods that i don't know, beyond from any that i have mentioned above. In Indonesia, many people have been a YouTube Content Creator. Even our president, Mr. Joko Widodo until a little kids like Baby Tatan is making content on YouTube. Of course, not all creators is focused on money matters. There are some people is only uploading content for their hobbies. But for any people who want to be a creator on YouTube and make money from it, it's possible.

So, how to start it? Is so easy, you only need to create your own Gmail account and star to create your content in the YouTube Channel. Don't forget to choose your channel theme and start to upload your video. Remember, never upload that doesn't comply with copyright terms! or your account would be banned from YouTube forever

Even Against Law This Is The Reason Why Hoax Is Still Produced

Hoax is being a serious case around the world. Every day, we meet many hoaxes that shared over the world on Social media or untrusted website. Hoax is a uncredible and untrusted news that used for attack opposition on politics matter or spread a terror in people.

Every country have restrict the spread of hoaxes and if someone share or create a hoax news will chased by police and threatened to a jail. However, if it against law, how it become very famous and always produced massively? We try to conclude why the hoax always produce and terror many people over the world.

1. Hoax is a very effective clickbait

Before we start, i want to ask you whether this 3 article's title that interest you to open in your browser directly? 

1. Due to accident, 1 tons of fish spilled to main road
2. Oh my God! This fish is trying to escaping the truck
3. Spread the sign of the God Anger! Thousand of fish spread and appear from land!

Which one you choose? I'm pretty sure that only a few people choose the number one because is to general. And you can easily guess what the article's content from the title.

Why they produce the clickbait? Of course because of the traffic. Clickbait can create curiosity for the visitor to visit their website. This means, the more visitor comes more profit they can produce with the website

2. There are major people still haven't open mind on internet

For some people (especially the one who aren't often and understand about the internet world), usually can easily trust any of information that spread through their social media account without researching the source first. I'm often found many broadcast on my WhatsApp group that contain hoaxes, but i never found it shared by a young person who understand about the internet world.

Why this happens? Because not all people know the truth. The are believe that the information on the internet is filtered like at the newspaper which is totally wrong. They still don't know about the internet contain can be produced by a anonymous person and not strictly filtered.

And the fact, major Indonesian people doesn't know the truth behind hoaxes. And this would be the cause of hoax to be a most potentially viral content

3. Xenopobhia with a organization or person

If you're have many activities at social media, i'm sure you often meet a hate speech that produced by a person or a organization. A hate speech usually contain many hoaxes on it and it is for covers the hate speech by fake fact and data. And if you check it through other media, you can't find other media that broadcast the exact same news.

Whether the article is hoax or not, can be proven by search it through search engine like Google. Are you found the credible and trusted media broadcast exact same news? If not, the article is definitely a hoax that used by a person or organization to represent their dislikes with others.

4. High Anonymity 

Everybody may create a free website quickly. Formerly, a person who want to create a website, must capable to do HTML coding. But now, everybody can create a free website with free CMS (Content Management System) and can be normally functional as the other site without any difficulties.

And you can create it anonymously. The easiest example is how many people using their face for social media's profile picture? And how many people using their exact name on their identification card for their social media name?

With anonymity, everyone able to spread the hoax easily without worries.

5. It's very hard to block all hoax site

Because of all reason above, the government cannot easily block all hoax site. If one site successfully blocked, the hoax creator may create other site and it will continuously happen.

And we are exactly know, we aren't live for reporting hoax site. So, if someone (who understand the internet) encounters a hoax site, they will consider to leave and not report it to the hosting provider or the government (i'm to lazy to report them too).

Maybe there are a lot of reason. But anyway, hoax is a harmful threatening things. There are several tips for you to avoid hoax on the internet :

1. Make sure you're reading a article from credible media
2. Don't read the title and picture only, but read the whole article first.
3. If the article doesn't contains any fact and data, don't share it and leave the site immediately.
4. Check the other media, especially the mainstream media (whether they are reporting a same news or not)

Let's fight against hoaxes! Hoax is one of divide et impera act for a country. And i'm sure no one want to see the country fall into chaos because of that.
